Track desert adapted wildlife in wild open spaces

Namibia is one of only two countries in the world where you can find desert-adapted elephants (the other one is Mali). In Damaraland, desert-adapted elephants are the most well-known species, but you can also search for black rhinos (endangered species) or in Kaokoland, look for the desert-adapted lions. The tracking can be done by vehicle, and sometimes completed by a closer approach by foot. Your guide will give you some insight about the adaptation of these fascinating creatures to live in this harsh environment, and the conservation efforts to protecting these endangered animals. Although their visibility is never guaranteed, the wild unfenced landscapes are always a great experience in itself, and immersing yourself into deep wilderness is a highlight of any trip!
